Video Metadata Cleaner

Check whether a video carries an AI label in its metadata, and remove Adobe's Content Credentials and XMP when it picked one up by mistake. Picture and sound are not touched.

Stays on your computer

Files are read and rewritten in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, so a 10 GB file takes about as long as a small one.

What is removed

The Content Credentials manifest (what Instagram reads for its "AI info" label), Adobe XMP (project history, source file names, app version) and Adobe's timecode notes.

What is kept

Every frame and every audio sample, byte for byte. Nothing is re-encoded, so quality, duration and frame rate are identical.

Use it for tags a file picked up by mistake. If a video really does contain AI-generated picture or sound, the platform's own disclosure rules still apply.
